We decided on a very sweet, 10 month old blue-crowned conure!!!

We are trying to come up with a name. Something original (not polly )... ... ...

When we were thinking QP, I though Benny.

When we looked at a Sun conure, I thought Picasso.

We're thinking maybe Pierre... But I don't know if that really fits him.


Any ideas??

No. My mom was at work today, but sent me around to all the different places to make a final decision.

(it kinda reminded me of my sister's wedding dress shopping...) I saw the blue crowned first, but I wanted to keep looking... SO I found a QP, and I would have loved him, but I couldn't stop thinking about the B-CC. SO... I went back there today, and knew he was definately the one.

We'll get him after my sister's wedding on the 14th, b/c I'll be gone for a week, so it makes sense that way.

(And I corgot my camera today, so I don't have any pics yet)

But he's really pretty. he has a lot of black edhing on his wing feathers, so they're all scalloped!

We're thinking maybe Raymond (Rayray)

My cockateils name is Pierre and my husband loves it. The day I decided to call him that my husband was watching "Who Loves Raymond" and they talked about a bird named Pierre and he got quite a kick out of it. Pierre has either grown to look like a Pierre or it's fit him all along as everyone says he looks just like a Pierre!!!! I decided to name his cage mate a french name too so she's Emma

Waldo's cute, and so is Ray! Whenever I hear Raymond, I think of "Everybody Loves Raymond"!!!

Ooh I like Indigo! I have a friend whose dog is named Blue. (it has one blue eye!)

How about the name Bombay? Indigo is a cool name. I was going to name my QP that.
