Someone on here said that when I get to meet him, I would find a name. His name is officially Twitty Bird. After the legendary Conway Twitty. He is so cute. He stepped up immediately. Everytime me and my husband said step up, he did it. He let us love on him. He leaned in to our hand. So precious.

In 3 weeks. He'll be 9 weeks old on Sat. I can't wait. I was real nervous when I held him. But, he seemed not to mind. haha .

I love it. Great name. Good luck containing your enthusiasm for three more weeks. I'm really nervous. The breeder said she could tell I was really nervous the way I handled the bird. I have to get over that. But, beings she lives over 100 miles away, I can't go and visit him. So, I'll read my book, the guide to the quaker AGAIN!! haha. And read all I can on this site. It has helped. Thanks all for your input.

I get my first baby Quaker on the 28th...and the breeder is about 100 miles from us, so I can't go visit in the meantime. Keep us posted and be sure to post more pictures after you get him home!

That was my thought. My son said he won't be able to bring his friends home to that. haha. I figure when I get him home, I'll take a Conway CD and place it on the table next to Twitty and take a pic. It could be my two twitty's. My son rolled his eyes and said in a ever so teenager voice, "Mom, you're soooo weird" Where does he get that?
