I use poop-off on all my cages and everyone recommends it. It's supposed to be all completely natural and pet-safe, after all, it's for bird poop! I have no doubt that the basic product itself it safe, but it also has fragrances in it that can get kind of over powering if I'm in my bird room with the window and door closed. Anyone have any problems with this product???

Also, we're trying to sell our house and one of our cats is old and lazy. He's been peeing right outside the litter box (RIGHT outside, like he's just too lazy to go in it!). So we took him to the vet and got him all fixed up and he hasn't peed there for a while now (turned out to be a heart problem). My vet recommended getting that Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover (White and red bottle) to get the cat stains out. I just got a huge supply of it and had planned to do the whole downstairs tonight, then it hit me: Is it safe for the birds??? My guys usually aren't downstairs, but I know how stuff travels through my house and it's bound to end up upstairs or at least the smell is). So any suggestions? Any idea if it's okay to use around my birds???

Sorry---I have no idea; in fact I've never heard of it....Can't help you I admit....

I use both and they are safe for the birds. natures miracle is an enzyme based cleaner too. I have an older dog who gets confused and goes on the carpet and I use the nature's Miracle to get the odor out.

We use Nature's Miracle also (it is awesome for pet "issues" on carpet -- no harmful effects to our fids at our house and believe me when I tell you that our house is no huge castle!

I also use both products in my home: Poop-Off for the bird cages, and Nature's Miracle for kitty's occasional accidents. Both products were recommended (and are used) by my pets' vets. I've never experienced any problems.

I use Nature's miracle and love it - anything that can get the odor of cat urine out is amazing to me and it does.

I don't know about the poop-off though - what are the benefits of using that product?

Poop-Off is another enzyme cleaner specifically for bird poop. It is a liquid that you spray on the mess and just wipe it off. I usually let it sit on there for a minute to get the hard green poops off, but it works wonders! I tried diluting it by half with water and it still works great! Poop-Off also makes a canister of wet wipes, but I haven't tried those.
