I spent another day at the aviary to help with the remodeling, and there was a lovely surprise too.
I took Hanzo with me, and he is still friends with Little M, which he grew up with not (not clutch mates). They are ADORABLE together, they always are cuddling and preening each other.

I also went a little camera happy... yet again. Though mostly only on the babies that were out and about. Like the Maroon Bellies. She has three of them fully weaned, and not a single one is sold... being the crazy bird lover that I am I kind of want one... and Hanzo KIND of made friends with one today biggrin.gif

And as some of you know. I am a sucker for lovebirds. When I have more time and done school, I'd like to get a pair.
So of course I took pics of the little babies she had. They are kind of really wanting food though, so I left them in their cage. There are two creminos, an apple, and a white face blue.

And then I decided bars were not fun... so I'd take a risk and unleash the little beasties biggrin.gif
And... what did I get?

And finally... she got another Quaker baby! He's split to blue, and instead of grey a grey chest, it is kind of this lime green. Sooo cute!

So just to clear it up... there is a Quaker baby, a Goffin Cockatoo, and three Black Capped Conures.
So, we are getting all three of them DNA'd (Quaker Baby, Hanzo and M). If M and Quaker baby are opposite sexes shes going to keep him and pair em up. (We think M is a girl, and Hanzo is a boy). So if Quaker baby and M are the same sex and Hanzo is the odd one out... well she said if I wanted, I could probably take him for Hanzo.
I feel really bad cause Hanzo adores M and she adores him, it would be nice to get Hanzo a friend. But I guess we shall see what will happen... and most importantly what my parents say!

Hope you enjoyed the many many many pics! biggrin.gif
