I hope you don't mind me joining this board. I do not have a Quaker but I have an 8 y/o Umbrella Too named Louie. I joined a Cockatoo board but no one is ever there! Louie is just a ham. Sweet, Cuddly, hilarious! He talks alot....quite a jabberbox. Some things we cannot understand but alot we can. His favorite is "Good Baaaby" when he is getting his lovins. He is out of the cage from 7:30 am until 9pm unless we are gone. He is very "laid back" for a Too I must say. He does do some vocals in the am and pm but is pretty much quiet the rest of the time. I think his favorite time of the day is when my daughter(she's 9) dances and sings with him. He also loves to play ball(although he will throw anything if you are willing to go fetch it!) He loves everyone! Has not met a stranger.(So much for the "Beware of the Bird" signs!) His original owner owned a resturant and Louie was up front by the register to greet and say bye to everyone.

I had a Quaker who fell in love with my dad when he stayed here a year ago while recovering from surgery. So my dad took him home. It was a good thing though, filled a void in my dad's life. I remembered seeing this board after I got Winston so that is how I ended up here!

Anywho, Anyone else have Too's??

Hello ! I just saw your Intro on the other forum..
I am sure there are Too owners here that is what the general Bird section is for OTHER types of fids that members own (other than Quakers).
Just wanted to say WELCOME again , share a picture of your Louie...He sounds like a ral nice boy...

Welcome to the site. Does not matter that you don't have a quaker. We love birds of all types here. And I agree a picture of Louie would be great.

I also have an Umbrella Too...she's 17 now... and she's not an overly loud bird either for a TOO.

I also have a Citron and he IS loud...UGH... Both were rehomes. Gotta love 'em

Welcome to the forum! Louie is beautiful! There are many too owners here and we always love to hear stories and see pictures of all different kinds of birds... not just Quakers!
