Hi all, my name is Angela and I live in Illinois by Quad Cities, I currently don't have a Quaker but really really want one. I currently have 4 tiels and a Green Cheek Conure that I swear hates me. I would love to trade him for a Quaker but haven't found anyone interested yet.

I have been browsing the threads and have really enjoyed all the pictures, stories and information. I'm hoping one of these days I will be owned by a Quaker.

I am also married with 2 beautiful daughters ages 4 and 6.

I know that some people here have GCC's that would be more than happy to give you some advice, but until then, good luck in your search for a QP, and welcome again!

Welcome to the forum. Can you tell me what your Conure is doing? Most little green cheeks are very friendly........I will help you out if you want. At least I will try.

Hi and Welcome! How long have you had your green cheek? What is his background? That could have a lot to do with it. When I got Shrek he was 9 months old, he had been hand fed and then put in a cage to set up for breeding later. So he didin't like hands or humans too much when I got him. It took me about 2 months of patience and nips to get him to understand I wanted to love him. He is a little over a year old now, but he will step up and cuddle on my shoulder and has learned a few words, but will only come to me.

I am also New to the forum . I also live in Illinois by Peoria. We just bought 3 quakers at a Pet store in LaSalle Illinois. email me for the info. if you want. Not sure that he has any now but he is a breeder of quarkers.

My brother and sister in law lives in La Salle.
We are up there atleast once every 3 months or so. And they
just bought a different house only 2 blocks from where they
lived before, so will probably be there soon again.
