Curious to see everyone's QP homes, if you wouldn't mind. Eventually I want to get a different one, and would love to see what you all have!

Here's Red's cage:

I think it's like 24x24x36 or something like that. Not sure how tall including the base, though.

Uggg A big picture again, sorry about that....I had just gotten his cage and had not gotten it set up yet...I guess he has been in it about two months now.....
Lene
I have the same type of cage for my GreenCheek, Sun and Quaker.

Their measurement's are 82cm wide, 54cm deep and 89cm high without the stand.

Looks like Tessa is enjoying the side show.... laugh.gif And I do like your cage setups...
Lene
Yes... Tessa is enjoying looking at the birds, but she's such a sook... She's a rescue, and I've had her for a couple of years. She's just afraid of EVERYTHING... including birds... lol
Pappagallo
Well here is mine! smile.gif

20 X 20 X 24 with a featherbrite bulb attached LOL LIke those bulbs because they don't get hot like the incondescent ones.

I also attached a pic of them on their play gym!

Here are my cages (I have two thanks to the members on the forum)

I kept these cages and let each bird have one of the prevue cages when they went into their new homes. The Cherry's were going to be in an open room and have the freedom to fly free so they won't even need a cage which is heaven because that is exactly what they needed. They so much needed to be in a place where they could let their wings grow out and they could fly free with others like them. Ricky and Lucy were not best of friends any more and they needed other friends to pick from.

Daisy got a home with a little girl in it. Exactly what Daisy needed now that she was totally tame, and loved children best of all.

Buddy was supose to go to an all male household-Perfect!

Booger - had a home too but I wasn't given much detail about it. I do know all birds are doing well.

Here is the cages I have. They are the easiest for us to clean with our medical problems, and that is the main reason we kept these over the others.

They each hold two birds! Or can be set up for one large bird. I have high hopes of getting an African grey one day when my medical problems are addressed and resolved, and when we win the fight for Mister SS and VA at 100%.

This is by far the best cage I have every owned and I have owned a few. It is also the best cage I have ever seen.

Oh though I am no longer rescuing parrots I am still going to be offering my service to help people with parrots who are not tame, to be able to at the very least interact with them. So if you have a problem quaker PM me and I will help you figure out the best way to address your birds issues.
Julies Jungle
Cheryl, those are really nice cages you got there..

Thus is our cage that my boyfriend ( kevin ) built for an afican grey congo. That we were to get but, sadly the man that had her turned out that either him or his broker was a fraud. So we didn't get her and decide that we would look close to home and found my sweet little babies quakers (3) . They should come home this week.We are planning on keeping each one in their own cages. Im begging..lol Kevin to make some smaller ones. I will get my way in the end...lol

I am switching cages as soon as I get a few more things unpacked....LOL
GeorgiaOnMyMind
I love these kinds of topics!

Here is my Georgia's cage:

It's an Island Cage (my favorite brand), the Fuji size.

Also, I think I will add a few more pictures of my other birds' cages, if that's okay biggrin.gif

Grace, my grey, in an Island Grand Caymen:
It's enormous, but you wouldn't believe how well she plays in it!

Monet, my caique, in an Island Cozumel:

She is one spoiled bird!
Xanthus
Goblin, my Quaker, is on the right in 24x22 HQ playtop cage and Cloud, my TAG, is on the left in a 32x22 California Dometop cage. I hope (if they remain available) to get Goblin a Cal Cage, but they are getting difficult to find !!

OneWingBrokenAngel
I don't want to post any pictures of Meeka's cage because I hate her cage and I feel it's to small, she only sleeps in it but here lately she has been living in it alot and i feel terrible about it. But I'm saving up for a new cages for her. I almost had one for her and the lady sold it. sad.gif

But I love showing her off~! Because she is so pretty and right now she is a angel~! Prise God that I have angel this week~! I wonder if she will have horns and a tail tomorrow? huh.gif
Gizmo #1
I am too lazy rigt now to take a pic. I just came back from a trip. Gizmos is not as bnig as some peoples but it is big enough for him to move around and stretch his wings were he wants to. I dont have many toys i it cause he has a playstand out of his cage and he is always out.
Alusdra
I have (I'll admit) a really huge cage. But it was cheaper than the smaller crappier one I was looking at (small one was at Petco, this one I got from a rescue). I like that it is huge- I can redecorate the interior in crazy ways much more so than Sylvia's small travel cage or even tinier outing cage. My only wish was that the bottom third~ was leg and not cage as 1) that would give me more storage room, 2) she never uses it anyway and 3) so that pesky critters like dogs and cats have less access. I added a picture of Sylvia preening my brother (another one from the one in the signature I'm too lazy to change...) because she's so frickin cute. wub.gif (And they are labeled with #s and I'm too lazy to go hunting down which is which laugh.gif )
Reds Parront
Thank you guys all soooo much! I know that I want to get Red a new cage, but am so undecided on what kind I want to get, so this gives me some really good ideas. There's so many looks and styles and I'm a HORRIBLE decision maker, lol.

Maybe I'll just have to get more birds, and then I can have one of each kind of cage I like, lol. YEAH, hubby would totally agree with that... wait, pigs don't fly yet, do they?? lol
Azale
Okay, new pics! (The cage looks kind of nuts, but Hanzo loves it so.. i'm pleased, lol)

As you can see from the first picture, I made a rope perch go around to the top of the cage through the breeder door so he can get up easily. Although.. .I think I put the breeder door on the wrong side of the cage, when I built it! laugh.gif

The interior is pretty nuts too. I put a boing in which he loooooves! wub.gif And some toys and lots and lots of perches. Hanzo was a little confidence-challenged with jumping from perch to perch, so I set it up that he can walk around easily. And i have some grapevine ring in the back, and a dogwood perch and some dried dogwood leaves for him to chew on.

And as you can see from the top... there is a huge paper towel drapped across for him to tear to his joy... and you can see the little guy in the corner. lol.

So that's the tour of his cage smile.gif
The funny thing, despite all his lovely perches and swings and things, he perfers to sleep sitting on the empty food dish ring tongue.gif

Lindsay and Tito
Tito isn't a quaker... he's a blue crown, but this is his cage:

We haven't set it up yet. right now he's temporarily in a smaller cage.
Azale
Wow Lindsay, I love that cage. I was just commenting on one like it in the catalogue today.

I can't wait to see it all set up!
Lindsay and Tito
We got it on Ebay for about $200 (including shipping). I think there were a few more. But it's HUGE! It weighs 80 lbs!!!
Azale
Here is the one I saw:
http://www.aecageco.com/New_Design_Cages-S..._Divider_1.html

Very similar. Does yours have the option of splitting in two for two birds? $200 seems a pretty good price for that cage. I'm pretty sure the one on the website is like $5oo to $8oo cdn.
Lindsay and Tito
No. it's only for one bird(I think) It's being shipped in two boxes though, so maybe??. but it's 27x37x??

This one is Couveigh's house. Beside him is one of my 4 cats, Gracie.

My cage looks just like yours, only dark brown. I also really like what the play gym looks like...may I ask where you got it? Thanks!
Lindsay and Tito
It's done (kind of) we're getting a few more perches. and I think it looks kinda empty (his other one was so full, but this one's so much bigger!

Tito's castle!

Azale
Wow that is quite the castle! It looks fantastic, and he seems so proud of it hehe. He truly looks like the king.

Don't worry about it being empty, soon you will realise that you don't have any more room!
Majj
What a GREAT cage , I would line newspaper on the play area so poop doesn`t fall through onto the toys and rope perches in the cage below...
Terrific Cage....got a link to share where you bought it from..???
Lindsay and Tito
we got it off ebay. these the seller's other cages: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/wpic-trading_W0QQ_ipgZ200

There was drama on the first cage that I bid on. I committed to buy and paid for on 7/1/07. After email(s) sent to the seller, They finally responded on 7/10/07 stating they were out of stock and wouldn't get grey until 7/19/07. The listing stated they ship within 48 hours and they had 44 available. I gave them two options:
1. Ship grey at discount
or
2. Refund of full amount
I just receive notification from Paypal that I have received a full or partial refund.
Then don't respond stating what happened or sorry for any trouble.
I get the funds back on 7/11/07.
I give them negative feedback based on the experience. They should have a listing of grey if they don't intend to ship within the terms and conditions of the listing on Ebay.

After they view the negative feedback, They open a dispute that I didn't pay within 7 days. Crazy!!!

Well, In the meantime I ordered from another seller on 7/13/07 and will get the cage Today. It's a better cage for my bird and my house. So It all works out in the end.

The bad seller was RARCAGESINC.
The good seller was biradise.

The only thing biradise didn't do was advise me of the tracking number but being crafty I searched the UPS website by reference number.

PHEWWWWWWW

lol

Willie just got a new cage yesterday. He's been making do with a $50 special but he's really loving this one.
