Please don't shoot me.........

But I have been having a VERY hard time telling which posts are new or old or hot and that sort of thing. Is there perhaps different Icons that you could use to make them more noticeable?

Am I the only one having this problem?

Any image with a dot on it means you have replied to it ....

You can view only new posts by clicking on View New Posts at the top left and also clicking My Assistant will provide a few options ..

Hope that helps ..

That is exactly what I do as well. Any new post will show up and you don't have to go searching through the different forums to go looking for one.

The only time I go right into a forum is if I'm looking for a specific thread, or I'm going to post a message. All the other times I use the 'view new posts'.

I use the "View New Posts" button too. biggrin.gif For the first couple weeks after I joined I didn't know it was there, and went into each specific forum... then I discovered the new post button! biggrin.gif I just click on it every time I finish reading a post then I can always see the new ones that were just posted. smile.gif It's great as well if you've been gone for a while (or even a short time!), it will show you all the ones you've missed since your last visit. smile.gif

Thanks everyone, I will start using the View New Posts, and I will check out the "My Assistant" didn't even see that there.
