Ok... the little spoiled brats don't like it much. They are having a tough time moving from level to level, though Poppy got brave once. They won't use ladders of any type for some reason... any suggestions?

Wow thats really a nice set up! but as far as getting them to explore maybe its too realy for me this morning I cant think...try moving them to the bottom to make their way back to the top? My sun is more active them my QP in investigation!

It may just take them some time to adjust to it. Some birds don't do well with new 'scary' things biggrin.gif So long as they can easily maneuver around (meaning they can move from perch to perch with ease) then they should get used to it soon.

You could always put a favorite treat on a few different perches to try and encourage them to move around it more.

Wow! Great job! Only things I can suggest is time to adjust to it and maybe a little more rope or vet wrap around the pipes including the joints so they can get a better grip on it. I would take some sisal rope, tie knots every 2 inches and run then from level to level for them to walk up and down without using a ladder.

you did a great job! I think they just need to get use to it.

I thought about tying knots in some Jute Yvonne, but I think I would have to angle it. Does anyone have QP's that will climb a vertical rope?
I have seen other birds do it, not sure if these two would or not. They are not happy about the new arrangement, but they are going to have to get over it. If I run one diagonally, I wasn't sure how to attach it to make it solid.
And yes, I might add some more vet wrap to the joints tonight
Thanks for the suggestions!

Max does. She has a rope boing that is about 9 feet long when completely stretched out. The part closest to the top goes straight up for about a foot and a half. She is always climbing up it to get at the top smile.gif

right on then... I am going to try it!
