I made one like that for my Budgie a while back and my quaker uses it
we used a piece of shower board we had left over from making thier big play gym, to put on the bottom of it for easy clean up of thier messes it wipes up so easy - I even put a piece of the shower board under each of thier cages, I just made it a little wider all the way around the cage that way it caught all thier messes and i dont have to fight with the vaccume cleaner to get all the seeds up :-)

I think i even put a pick up on here some where of the portable perch we made

it makes it so nice just to leave it at the pc and let the bird sit on it

When I saw the mouse of the computer on the left hand side I said to myself I bet daddy is left handed, then I saw in the next picture he is using his left hand... How observant I am.....

The perch is great Michelle and I know Ozzy will get a lot of use out of it....Heck, if I made something like that for Harley he wouldn't be still; he seems to have to be moving around all the time and then begging for me...Spoiled baby I guess....

I made one that fits over the car seat like the ones you see on ebay, but added water and food bowls. It works great, if they would stay on it. They would much rather climb all over me!

Ozzy is soooooo much better behaved than my greys I've had to use floor stands that can be pulled back further, so a jump and a flap or two doesn't turn my desk into a playground for a strong-beaked birdie with destruction in mind
