Well first I will say hi and it has been a while sense my last post. Just my life has been a little chaotic.

Well I lost my best friend Woody our Quaker. He was a birth day gift for my other half but bonded to me. He went every where with me. Did not talk much But would always cuddle next to my neck. And he was a jealous bird Too lol.

Well the day before 4th of July our neighbor kids were lighting of fireworks. Well one of them threw one in my front yard. It spooked Woody and he Broke his neck. He died in my hands because I was right there after I heard something in where he was. His cage door was open and it was play time for him. the firework went off right next to the window.

I have his leg band around my neck.

Liam is now trying to take his place and I am happy for that.
Rocky and Pety are mean as ever but doiong good.

I am getting better at dealing with it and I will try to stop in more often.

I'm so so sorry for your loss of your feather friend~! You will always have a guaradian angel looking over you, It's a terribly loss, but you will see him again over the rainbow bridge~! And you have so many memories as this beautiful, gorgeous creaatures God made.

I feel so sad for you and anyone that loses a loved fid , words do not seem enough...
I hate coming to this forum and when I see a new post here my heart skips a beat because I know I will feel the pain of who ever is going through a loss...

Please accept my heartfelt condolences with your loss of your beloved Woody. I am so sorry. His leg band on a chain that you wear around your neck is a wonderful and touching reminder of Woody next to your heart. I pray that the pain of the loss of Woody will ease for you and your family.

Thank you so much for all the kind words he will be missed. Chrissy wanted to replace him for me but I don't think I am ready for that. Besides Liam is doing a great job of being my friend. I know he will never be able to fully take his place but he is trying. He was also right there When we lost Woody.

im so sorry for your loss, its hard to lose a pet like that rather a feathered kid. I do a bunch of rescues myself. I know its hard to lose one especially in that way, I lost one like that myself (broken neck) yeah it was hard.. but your gonna be okay because we're here for you. your apart of a very big family here.
