I had him in my jewelry work room for quarantine and moved him up to the loft 2 weeks ago with the other birds. Well that didn't last- he decided he was going to let all of the other birds out of their cages, steal all of their toys, and scream a lot - even if someone was up there with him. He didn't want to play on his play stand down stairs. So this weekend I reaaranged several rooms so I could make a permanent space for him in my work room. He is very happy again.

I also realized yesterday how much he has become "my" bird. My daughter was in playing with him and he left her and came looking for me in the other room. He has never done that before. He was very happy when he found me sitting on the couch. Silly bird. So here are a few pics.

I can laugh now but it wasn't funny with all 7 birds flying around - my lovies are not real tame so they were not fun to catch-and all of the cats were still out - so the kids were grabbing the cats while I was trying to get birds. And mongo laughed and screeched the whole time. dry.gif

I'm so happy to hear that Mongo is doing so well. I have a cockatoo, also, and these birds can really be a challenge to keep happy. Good luck and thanks for sharing the pics.

wub.gif sad.gif biggrin.gif Tons of mixed emotions here. I've been missing him like crazy still after a couple of months but have managed to keep my composure. Those pics are great and he looks so happy just hanging out with ya Joanne! Thanks for the update and the pics.
