We just had these 2 surrendered to us. The owner's didn't have enough time for them. Nor did they have the knowledge on keeping them really. {Im not judging - this is what they said!}

The birds are 6 {Q} and 7 {sun}, they have always lived together in a very small cage. They had 1 toy & 2 perch's. They are on a Zupreem pellet diet, no seeds!! Also, no fruits, veggies or nuts. They are both able to be handled - the Q (Butchie) is more cage aggressive then anything. He is very controlling over Mar also. If we pick up Mar & handle her, when he is put back in the cage - Butchie beats him up :|

So here's a couple pictures of them & there cage. Im hoping to separate them, but maybe find them the same home!

Adorable babies...It is great that you are able to take them in and work with them..I never understand how people can keep birds/get birds, or whatever the circumstance may be and then just practically ignore the birds.....grrr.Thank you .....

They just need some tender loving care and I'm sure you have a hard road ahead of you, but you can make it work...My best to you and the babies....

Flock Mom
Cuties! I kinda have a thing for suns although I've never owned one. I think they would mesh well here with the flock.....

oops mind started to wander to dreams of more birdys lol

I noticed your from Bryan! That's where I was born, and my brother just gave the commencement speech 2 years ago for the high school then was asked to come back and work for the Bryan Area Foundation. Anyway lots of history there, I'm in town alot would love to meet.
