Rules are simple, "paint" a picture of a bird species either by changing text colors in your discriptions or go with straight poetry

Check back often to see if people guessed correctly! If they were wrong you can add to your discription and re-post.
I'll start:

I just would like a little clarification here...As to the Salmon Crested Cockatoo... In actuality it is really called the Moluccan Cockatoo...
And they really aren't white...their bodies are more of a light pink to creamy peach color, and their crests are salmon colored...there's a very big difference in their color as opposed to Many of the other White cockatoo's...Of course there are lots of color variations resulting from what type of diet they have...

Technically it would be a
budgie because a budgie is a parakeet but a parakeet is not just a budgie, but a classification of birds.
Okay, here's one...
I am from South America and I have a blue-tinged, crimson crest that rises over my silver-grey face.

(I am lucky enough to have seen one of these!

)
The female is duller then the male. Both are mainly a shade of grey with scalloping. The male has a bright read head with a feathery plume on top. The call apparently sounds like a creaky gate or a cork being pulled from a wine bottle.

I am saying the Gang-gang - Canberra's Own Cockatoo
Tom Green
Member of the Friends of the ANBG
Many Friends of the ANBG will have a soft spot for the Gang-gang, our own high-country cockatoo. Gang-gangs can be found in the Gardens throughout the year. They are grey cockatoos similar in size to the Galah. Males have a striking 'post-box red' head while females have a finely barred breast; both sexes sport a jaunty little crest of curling loosely barbed feathers. They occur as pairs or small family groups. Their flight is fast, but heavy, and usually about tree canopy height. Typically their flights end with the birds gliding steeply up to a perch in the canopy. Their weird 'creaky gate' call to each other while flying is unmistakable, but at rest, or while feeding, they are usually silent unless alarmed.
