Well it has been one month ago that Pablo(senegal) came to live with us. Pablo has come such a LONG ways since then. We couldnt pick him up without him biting us within 5 minutes of the time he got onto our finger. Basically, all he did was step up and "bite".
One month later he is such a lil doll baby. He is the cutest thing and we love him dearly. Boy, what a difference one month makes.
When my husband leaves the room Pablo immediately starts calling "daddy, daddy, where's my daddy"? He is definantly my husbands bird.
His favorite thing to do is swing upside down on the inside of his cage or on the opening to the big door in the front.
He did the funniest thing I have ever seen last Friday. He was laying on his back and kicking his feet and then he reached up and got hold of his tail feather with his beak and started giggling. I almost fell out of my chair laughing at him. I told him "Pablo you are a silly baby". Which he immediately repeated "Pablo silly" LOL
He eats everything. He eats all his pellets and veggies and fruit and since we have him eating healthy now (not just cheap parakeet seed like he ate before) his feathers are so beautiful and shiny. If I happen to put something into his food bowl he doesnt like he promptly throws it out into the bottom of his cage.
I am so glad we rehomed this lil guy. He has turned into the "other" love of our lives. Jesse (qp) of course will always be the first one we loved.
