On the sad anniversary of Paulie's pasing, a friend of mine emailed me and sadly told me about Taku (one of my favorite whales),

Taku who is the son of Seaword Orlando's famous dad Tillikum and famous mom Katina Has died at the age of 14 years, Seaworld knew something was wrong on wednesday evening when he was acting awkward and died shortly after, a necropsy will be performed to find out what happened.

Rest in peace Taku

That's very sad but to be honest I've never heard of Taku, I should though. Well hope they find out what happened!

Taku is Katina (the originall Orlando Shamu who is still living)' son their all known by their first names but Shamu is their last name.. Taku was also known as 'Namu' when he was in the show'

Im am doing ok, My friend jason is not. Yeah whales are a big part of my life, just like my fids are. any loss in our animal family whether finned furry or feathered is a major loss for the earth itself. My friend lindsay who now works at Marineland france was there when Taku was born, she is devistated, she put it best when she said : The loss of Taku is very hard on all of us, there goes another intelligent animal. A sweet whale who had the opportunity to show the kids about conservation of our wild ocean.
