I adopted the IRN from Conurecrazed. Her name is Jamilla and she made it to her forever home yesterday.
We are so blessed to have her. Boy, she does have some issues! But, I told her I still have another 40-50 years in me, so if it takes that long, we will use every minute of it! She is a beautiful bird, and Conurecraze did a great job with her.
I'll keep you posted when there are updates!

I am admittedly very bad at the picture thing. Hopefully will get some up soon.
Just as a quick update -- Jami is doing very well - a testimony to the wonderful care she received from Flock Mom.
Anyway, she will now allow me to come right up to her cage, look her in the eye and talk to her without her going in circles in her cage or flopping about it like crazy. This is a big change from when she first got here.
Every little step seems so huge in cases like this. She is a beautiful bird and it is a shame anyone ever treated her like she was treated!

That's great! That is a huge step for her!

Sounds like she is adjusting well.

I am so glad to hear that you have made that much progress. That in itself is wonderful. Great job. I pray she will continue to improve with every day she is there.
