I said I WANT THE MALE. My heart went out to him. Caged within a flight room w/o even a name.
The lady of the house took him out of the cage with the biggest thickest oven mitt I ever saw.
I paid them and off I went with my new baby and some of the Walmart parakeet seed she gave me. It looked like it was all Milo.
I brought him home talking to him all the way. Such a little trooper he was.
When I brought him up to his new digs he missed the door opening and took off flying all over the house to my horror.
I was afraid of him crashing into something. And I also have
3 well behave cats and 2 dogs.
My rough collie, Jackson, helped me catch him believe it or not. I picked him up off of the floor and it Bit me w/o trying to hurt me. I was bare handed. i felt confidence from the very begining. He would not step up therefore I had to pick him up and managed to clip his wings single handedly. LOL
What a mess but now blood thank God.
I then put him in his cage and let him relax and explore. He was very curious. I offered him a kiss throuogh the bars and hie kissed me through the bars.
He was very cage aggresive and still is and would not step up the next day. Instead he screamed at me for the next 2 hours.
I ignored it (or tried to) and finally he was yelled out and stared laughing. That got me. We laughed together for about 5 minutes at which time I was genuinely laughing.
In the last couple of weeks I have succeeded to get him to step up in his cage by teaching him to do it outside of it.
We are getting to be great friends. He is on a play stand next to me as I type.
He still screams at me in the morning but at night I get my kiss.
Everyday gets better. I love you my LGC (((Cleuseau)))
And here is the first pic I took of him finally yesterday.
