I was hopin never to post here but, not very realistic. When i got home from work yesterday i go about greetin everyone as usual Fred has never been very vocal since he has been here but he will go back an forth on the perch, while i talk to him, his mate Ethel just stares at me. every thing seemed normal well i go back later to settle everyone for the night and Fred is sittin on his food cup gone. I was so upset, i never saw any inkling that anything was amiss, I rescued Fred an Ethel from a terrible home. their tiny cage was filthy and the couple that had them said we only got them cause mothers in the nursing home and we really dont care for them to noisy Iwas told they were approx 20yo, by a person who new the mother well. Please say a prayer for Fred

I am so sorry! Twenty years is a long life, and now he is flying free and healthy at the rainbow bridge, waiting to thank you for the home you gave him for his final days here.

Prayers and hugs to you from someone else who lost a tiel recently. I know what little sweeties they are, and even tho' it hurts to lose them, they are worth the time you spend together. Sounds like Fred was lucky to spend that last time with you.
