I know the feelings you are having right now. I always cry when I read these posts, so I'm out here crying with you! I know that doesn't help. Only time can do that. I'm soooooo sorry!

Sending ((HUGS)) from across the miles ...The pain never go`s away when you love a critter and they pass over , but after some time you will be able to remember the good times and smile ....I know that a part of your heart will always be with your beloved critter as mine is with my beloved JJ, Jam and Minty (fids flying free over rainbow bridge)...
I hate seeing new posts in this forum my heart crys for your loss and I remember my own and cry again....

So Sorry to hear of your loss. 14 years is a long time for a dog, you were graced with a lot of years of unconditional love from Shep. As hard as it is right now, rejoice in the fact that the years you had together were extraordinary and will never be repeated. The lord has made us so we will not forget those we loved but has also given us room to love another. You can never replace Shep but you do have the love to give another when the time is right for you.

Shep is in a better place now, watching over you and wagging his tail because he wouldn't want you to be sad. You know that he's no longer in pain and you should take comfort in that. It won't be long till you'll think of him and smile and thats when you know its time for you to share that smile and that love with another.

Awww I am sorry thats so sad he was with you part of your chidhood. doors that close and we arent wanting them to! One fine day I believe you will see him again I firmly believe the Lord in all of His Infinate Love has so many wonders set ahead for us!!! But meanwhile grieving is what you need....Id like to put my arms around you and hugg you.

Aawww Nat ... I am so sorry ... Shep looks like he was such a lover. I know the pain of losing a lifelong friend, and the pain DOES get better...it doesn't go away completely, but it does get better. I am sorry it hurts so much.
