I just want to say something and it's not a complaint. I have been to my share of forums over the years that I've been an online person. This one is so different. Ya'll are such a nice group of people. Alot of forums that I've seen have "cliques" and if you haven't been there for long or whatever you're made to feel like an outsider. Ya'll aren't like that. Ya'll are helpful and nice and caring and it warms my heart. I mean that honestly, it's great to find a place where the "noobs" don't have to worry about asking a question and getting talked down to like they are stupid for not knowing the answer. It's refreshing to find a place that not only is dedicated the the beautiful quaker parrot{and the other fids}but also a place where the members know what it's like to be human. Thank you all for your kindness and mostly for allowing Nick, Kiwi, Gizmo, Gonzo and I to be a part of your flock!!!!!!! Lotsa luv, Tarrie

Awww...that is so sweet! And I couldn't agree more, I haven't been here a year yet but feel like I have know this group forever. It's such a caring, friendly group and this forum is totally addictive!

How true and well spoken! I haven't been here very long but felt like part of the group from the beginning. It's a fabulous group of people and I think that's what draws us back here and makes it so addictive.
I joined a dog group once and asked a question anf the very first person that answered my post said "you should go to the files and look there for answers before you come here with questions". Others followed along with her like a feeding frenzy, so I easily forgot those people. Their group was small and I can see why. This one and my horse group are the best I have ever seen.
I think everyone here shares your views.

Tarrie, Thanks for giving the group of us such a nice compliment. We've had others that would disagree. We all try very hard to make everyone feel welcome...after all we were all once newbies too.

It takes all kinds to make the world go around and to make a forum work as well as it does we owe to the great job our moderators do and how understanding each and every member is.

I truly feel we are a family here. Better than most families I think. When the chips are down we all seem to dig deep and help where we can and I think it really stems from the fact that we all share a common interest and that's our love for our little green butts, and to make sure we give them as much as we have to offer and that includes helping someone else out to make it easier for them to care for their birds.

I agree this is the best forum I've ever been a part of. What I think makes it great is not only that we help each other whether it be online or actually helping when we can is that even when some of us have had problems we've been able to overcome those problems and really come together as a group or better yet a family

I completely agree with you. This is my first experience with any forum at all and I'm so happy that it's a good one!
The only thing I wish is that we could all meet eachother... wouldn't that be fun?! I feel a friendship with these people even though I don't post much... funny.
