Absolutely! The worst is when I go back to visit Nebraska, and they still comment on how they could never live in MN because it's so cold... uhmmmm... it's actually only about 10 degrees difference, and in the winter, what's really the difference between 5 and 15 below zero?? lol

Parrot Cove in Minnesota is going out of business and closing its doors for good april 30th.

I live in northern minnesota and was wondering if its worth my drive to go there so if you have been and its good deals please please please let me know.

Hey fellow Minnesota folks 
I tried posting this in the rehoming section, but since Chico isn't my bird, it got deleted so I thought I would post it here. If you live in Southern MN, there is a Quaker Parrot named Chico who has been at the Apple Valley Petco for not weeks or months, but YEARS. I believe this poor bird was hatched in 2002 or 2004 and still needs a home
His price was originally $269 but since he has been there so long they moved his price down to $100. So if you are looking for a new Quaker, please keep Chico in mind.
I asked the pet store employees if he is sweet, and as you can imagine he's not...he would need someone special who could socialize him, as far as I know he has had almost no human interaction except for the employees. He is in the back room.

I hope he finds a good home. Chances are he will at that price. I live in Northern Minnesota, yes I have one foot in Canada, but will put the word out.

I dont like the cold either. I never know what to say when I go to the gas station and the clerk says 'cold enough for ya?'. lol.
I am allot north of you but welcome to the flock cant wait to see posts from you.
