I live in haltom city which is a suburb of fort worth. I do not bird sit since I am a bit too busy to care for someone else's pet, but I do work at akennel that does offer bird boarding. www.pappyspetlodge.com they have quite a few locations in the dallas and richardson area, and are about to franchise! I'm a skilled bird handler, and I do encourage you guys to consider us for your pet sitting needs. Not all locations have people who are skilled bird handlers so I would suggest asking about the staff before chosing a destination for them! If you ever need help in the area with anything bird related please drop me a line, and I'll be happy to lend a hand

Which one...Jefferson? I lived there briefly before movning to Longview.

I'm in Dallas, White Rock Lake area. I saw someone else in Irving, which is where we moved from in October. I'd always be willing to keep birds for anyone...just ask.

Oh cool! I'm over by White Rock Lake. Have you been to Treetop Bird Center? It is on the corner of Coit and Campbell by that Marshalls, and it is an AWESOME place!! If you've not been there you should check it out...nothing at all like a regular pet shop. They have nothing but birds, they foster birds, and have some awesome toys and every sort of parrot food out there!

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. Alfie has been in my life about a year and a half now.
Over all she's a good bird but i would like it if she had a bird friend she could visit from time to time.

I Live in the Houston area.

I could also use physical help in getting Alfie to perch on my finger or wrist.
I wrote a post presenting her perching problem.
Please if any of you have advice about this tell me.
Better yet if any of you experienced parrot people in my area are will to help me that would be great!

I am not a bird expert! tongue.gif
