Cheryl and everyone,

We finally got home about 1 pm, we stopped at my aunt's and spent the night, didn't get in there until 12:30 am then left about 11 am.

Cheryl, they are both doing so good, it was so cute when I took Paulies cover off first thing I heard was good morning, then everytime I would talk to Peanut he would cough and I would say are you okay? And he would laugh. This morning he let me give him tickles through the bars and took orange and grapes from me and my husband when I got hom. Peanut came out when we got there last night and let me hold and scritch her before I put them to bed, this morning she cuddled with me again for a little bit before we took off again.

I have the cage in the house and have been trying to get it set back up and get them moved back in so they will feel more at home. But they are eating and drinking and talking a mile a minute. So everything went well.

Cheryl thank you so much for entrusting these two sweeties to me I think we are going to be good and I promise updates especially if you will send me your regular e-mail address.

Hugs to Cheryl I know how difficult this was for you but I thank you from the bottom of my heart and promise they will be loved and well taken care of.

It sounds like both Peanut and Paulie are doing excellent, I know they will do fantastic with you!

Von, you are an angel.

When I talked to Von today, I started crying. I miss Paulie so dang much. I know I did what was best as my Doctor keeps telling me this first stroke is a good indication I will have another much more serious in the future. So I knew I needed to find them a GREAT home before something happened and I wasn't able to function enough to make a good choice.

I know they are in a good place!

Aaaw Von---wow, you have been busy little lady----Cheryl called me yesterday after you left and said she was alright with everything but naturally she misses them...And she will for awhile....But it makes Cheryl at ease knowing those sweet babies are in good hands...
I'm glad you made the trip okay Von...Now-----see if you can relax and get a little rest..
Sounds like a lot to do at one time..Mercy, I would be worn out by now...

Glad everything worked out okay, and you had a safe trip. It is so nice Von that you could give Paulie and Peanut a home with love. Life does have a way of working out, especially when we have faith and take care of each other. Best Wishes you have a big heart!!

It sure wasn't easy to get there! What a trip! What should have been a five hour trip turned into 9 hours, we ran into 3 different road work areas one in each state, and we spent 4 total hours sitting or crawling along the highway. It was unreal! We got to my aunt's about 12:30 am, visited and went to bed. Got up and drove the 2 hours home. It made for a long trip, but so worth it, meeting Cheryl and Terry (oh and Sassie) and then bringing these two sweeties home with me, right now Paulie is dancing and Peanut is making kissy sounds. They are so cute! Daughter has my camera tonight, but will try and get it back and take some pics tomorrow. Not going to be up much longer am totally exhausted but thank you all for your well wishes and you will be hearing a lot more about these two I am sure.

Oh Von- I am SO excited to hear how well they are settling in. That's wonderful- especially for Paulie, with his "issues". If he's that chatty and animated then he surely must feel safe with you.

I can't wait to hear more about their antics as they settle in- and of course to see lots of pictures
