Full Version: Mr. Kiwi Is Getting A New Cage

Ever since I moved Gidget into Kiwi's old cage, she hasn't been playing at all. Kiwi's old cage was only 18 x 18 and it sits almost 2 ft lower then the other cage. Because I have been doing some extra work for my boss and getting paid a little more, my hubby said I could get it.
Here is the picture, but I didn't order the blue, I think I ordered the sand color.

And good for Mr Kiwi too

This cage is a 26 x 20 and Gidget's old cage that she will be able to get back in is only 22 x 17. I figured since Kiwi was bigger that he gets the bigger cage. The price of the cage wasn't that bad.....$189 that includes shipping. It is an HQ cage.

I work from home posting ads on Craigslist for Rent to Own and Lease to Own homes and send out about 150 emails to realtors. It keeps me busy for sure. I don't want to go out and work, so for right now it is working.

Wow Sandi, good deal on the job...

Why don't you go one more size up on the cage and get the drop down catherdal door so he has a landing patio to sit on? They aren't that much more expensive and it would give him all the room he'd ever need.

where would I find something like that (going to kick myself)

Those landing platforms on the cathedral tops are great! Drop down doors used to be quite common on many size birdcages; now they seem to be available only on the victorian models. I don't know why they are so limited.
