I have good news to report! Frankie's mom (Joni) is going to be bringing Petey to meet me next weekend!!! Petey is an 8yr old male and of course is super cute! I will be visiting family this weekend (a retirement party, 80th B-day party, and a 1st Communion at the in-laws all in one weekend, phew!!) so we are going to meet up next Sunday. I have been counting down the days until then - every day I wake up and say "we're 1 more day closer to meeting Petey!". I sure hope that he likes me and my husband. I just wanted to share my good news and hopefully next Sunday I can post that I found my own fid to love!!!

That is great hope your meeting goes as well as mine did when Frankie's Mom brought Miss Mya to meet me, Joni, does such a great job with her rescues, and Mya is an excellent example of that, we hit it off and its like we have never been apart

Congrats !!! I hope it all goes well, I just got my Quaker a week ago today and they are such a bundle of joy..Let us know how it went..I am sure you will pass the test..

We'll all be anxiously awaiting an update. Tomorrow is the big day. If all goes well, will Petey just stay? We are all hoping everything works for you and for Petey! We'll be watching.

Fingers crossed the meeting goes extremlly well for all concerned. Have fun at all the parties you are going to and drive safe. Shall also wait patiently for an update plus photos.
