I have a young (almost a year) quaker parrot that I am looking to find a new home for. He has no health problems. I purchased him from a pet store, where he was ignored and not given any attention. I have been working with him to get used to hands and he is making some progress and will take toys or treats out of my hand, but will not get on my hand or let me pet him. He needs someone that can offer him alot of attention. He loves to play outside of his cage with my sun conure, and seems to get along well with him. I have been working with him to get him on a pellet diet (he's was on a seed diet his entire time at the pet shop). If you are interested, please let me know. Thanks!!

I live outside of Lubbock, I'm not sure where Clute is, but if you haven't found a home yet for your parrot I could certainly help you out with giving him a new home.

Clute is about 50 miles south of Houston. He hasn't found a new home yet.

Does your quaker have a name, and has it found a home yet? Also I didn't see if there was a re-homing fee and if a cage is included. Might help if you had a picture and could post it. rolleyes.gif
