I'm not very fond of having to click on posts inside a thread in order to view them. What happened to just being able to scroll down? Was this done to make it easier for those with dial-up to load the pages? Mostly, this stems from the way I typically navigate - I use the back button to get places, so having to click through the posts means I have to back up a LOT if I want to get back to the original section.

I suppose I can learn to live with it, but I just wanted to make it known that I personally prefer the old way.

Thanks for reading!

Ok, now I feel like an idiot: I just found the thread posted by Truman about this same topic. I just figured that this was an overall change to the entire site since I don't typically mess with any options.

Sorry about that!

No problem .. It actually happens quite often ..

The options button that is available at the top right of the page when inside a post provides the user with different "Display Modes". The default value is "Standard" but on occasion users have mistakenly clicked on another mode which completely changes how the posts are presented.
