I've done it twice now.

I was tryng to get my Sugar Gliders out of their cage one night and said "step up". I was walking Thor last night, giving the walk command, but instead said "step up".

Whoooooa, too much time with the birds. All day is what's doing it.

That's just TOO funny!!! Reminds me of when I tried to open my back door by pressing the "unlock" button on my car remote......

At least no one can say you are not with the birds enough......

I've done something just like that! My husband and I were at petsmart looking at the adoptable cats. One of them started liking my fingers, so I said, "that's a good bird!" Fortunately no one else besides us was around at the time...

I've done the step up thing too, but mine is with the kids at school. I've got a class of little bitty ones, and whenever they are laying around on the floor and it's time to get up and get in line, I walk over to them, grab their hands and say "step up"! Luckily I'm the only bird person around so no one else gets the reference.
