Our little Angel is doing so well! This is only day three since she came to us. At first she didnt want anything to do with standing on us she would just lay in our hands and snuggle. She didnt like our hands in her cage either and wanted to bite. Her bites are not even real bites just little nips that only looked violent LOL.
In our introduction i mentioned she had sensitive feet (info from previous owner) I felt that toweling her to get her out from the cage like the previous owners did was too tramatic for her so id just pick her up with my hand. Yesterday i got her to step up (with alot of efforts on my end) and she has been ever since with no biteing attemps or tantrums. She is such a sweetie and likes to snuggle up close under my chin She even started saying somthing. She will only talk to my son tho and its very quiet. I think she likes his voice. If we go to her cage she fluffs up and blinks her eyes at us but when we walk away she rips on her bell toy makeing a fuss if we don't bring her out. She seems to be a picky eater and only will eat her seed so today i didnt give her any seed to see if she would eat some parrot pellets. Shes eaten only the white little flowers and the orange round bits of her pellets so i will let her have some seed later on. Tomarrow we will see how she likes oatmeal i think.
I feel so lucky to have her here. I thought it was going to take forever to get her to trust and learn. She has blown me away with how fast she has progressed. I really think that sombody loved and cared and spent alot of time with her at some point.
Pictures coming soon.
