LillyMyQuaker
Hello all, I know I have not posted here in quite sometime. I have been really busy though. After the death of my Quaker, Lilly, I decided to let everything settleout before I got another small pet; but a few months later I got a little ShihTzu who's name is Benji - he is almost two years old now. My last post was September of 2006 - I decided to take some time off from having birds, and got my little puppy. He is so wonderful; but I really do miss the bird(s) I used to have with their beautiful singing, and colours.

I am looking to get a lovebird... I would like to adopt one (as I did my first), but not sure where to start with that. I live in Central Florida; so if anyone is looking to put a Lovebird up for adoption let me know.

Thanks,
SC

One place that always seems to have lots of adoption center postings is Petfinder.com Also try googling bird/parrot adoption centers in your area. There are a few good ones around here but I'm in ohio smile.gif Good luck and props to you for deciding to adopt smile.gif

Welcome back! smile.gif

I just looked on Petfinder.com and there appears to be a few Lovie's in FL, but I'm not sure if they are close to you or not. You can also check kijiji.com as there are always lovie's there too. It seems like a lot of people also like Craigs List as well.

Good luck in your search for a new birdie! smile.gif

I adopted Pico at age 4 from Parrot Adopt where I live. He is the sweetest bird and so smart to boot. I love him so much. I'm going to adopt later when the time is right. You won't regret adopting if you decide too. There are so many homeless Parrots out there looking for someone like you to love them.
