SweetPea came home today from the Falls Church Petsmart where I work. He is a year-old green Quaker who is very social and loves to be handled. I imagine that it will be quite an adjustment to go from being spoiled rotten by all the PS employees in a noisy store to being spoiled rotten by my husband and I here at home.

Here I am falling in love with him



He can say "Hello", "Step Up" and he makes kissing noises in your ear when he is on your shoulder.
I am delighted to say that my husband is becoming smitten with SweetPea as well.

Trixie, I'm so envious! I'm gonna have to wait another 6 weeks or so to bring my Seamus home !!! And I'm glad to hear that hubby is warming up... My boyfriend is hesitant to say the least! I know he'll come around! (or it's me and the bird or the road, pal!)
