I have 4 groups of babies I am handfeeding. The quakers of course, group of 3 parrotlets, group of 4 parrotlets and group of 2 tiels. I have them (except the quakers) in containers by group in the brooder. The group of 3 are the older ones and they are becoming real pistols climbing around and getting into everyone else's containers. One green female has learned how to pull herself out and go visiting.

Hubby came home and asked why I had a parrotlet in with the tiels...I told him I didn't....he said yes you do you better come look. Sure enough, the little green female was in with them and they are 3 times her size. So I put her back with her group and watched, as soon as her toes touched down she was climbing out again, climbing over the other parrotlet group and jumping in with the tiels!! I had to build a fake wall out of a cardboard box top to keep her on her side of the brooder! It was too funny! She keeps climbing in and out of the container and trying to scale the wall!!

Haven't been able to take good pictures of them they move so fast they are a blur, will try and take a video tomorrow of my little houdini going visiting.

It sounds like quite the nursery you have their. I would love to see them all. They must be so cute to watch. Hugs Esther

AWWWWW sounds sweet and like they are sooo much fun. My little hooligan is just mean.

Well they say Parrotlets have a big bird attitude ... she must be trying to find out where it comes from by going in with the big birds!! OR she is trying to BE a big bird to match the attitude!!

That must be a hoot to watch!!

Yes they are a real hoot! Its been a little rough the last 6 days, have had the flu and a bad cold and only getting out of bed every 4 hours to feed babies, run to the little girls room and fall back into bed. Will try and get a video of them tomorrow if I am feeling better.
