My husband and I have been trying to decide for a while now on whether we should get a Quaker. We have been asking questions and reading books, etc. Well, today we got the cage...And put a deposit on our Baby!!! He/She is three months old, inquisitive, bright eyed, and sassy already.
We are going to bring him/her home tomorrow. Tonight we'll be getting ready, setting up the cage and just being excited in general. I'll be scanning the forum for as much info as I can because I'm getting nervous. I'm excited though, because we found a respected avian vet right near our neighborhood!
I'm sure I'll be asking a million questions in the next few days. And bombarding you with baby pictures. Be patient with me!
