Hi Everyone in Quakeyland well this is mommy Carol and have some said news to say recently over night of friday 6/20/08 my dear 3 1/2 year Kiwi just like that for no apparent reason passed on just like that and I'm total DEVASTATED over the lost I don't understand it she wasn't sick or anything like that she was in perfect health like my other birdies Quakey and Tiki and my amazon parrot Tequila I just don't understand it and its a tragic extreme loss I try and tell my others that there Grandma up in heaven wanted a quaker parrot so GOD called Kiwi to come and live with her. The loss like that is DEVASTATING here indeed. But there is now there's a little piece of good news to it I go every weekend to this Flea Market new where I live at and I always take my little dog and my 3 quakers with me each time we go (my amazon doesn't care o go out to much oh well) and there is a real nice young girl there that breeds and sells all kinds of birds and parrots, we went saturday 6/21/08 the next day (we lost Kiwi the night before) and we know each other and know the devatation of losing a pet parrot like I did and know how I am with all of my birdies ( and that I treat them all like feathered children that they all are) and guess what she gave me (and yes I repeat GAVE ME because she know's me well and all) gave me a new little baby sister quaker parrot and we named her Kiwi in honor of the Kiwi we just unexpected-suddenly lost. She's 4 months old now and she eats on her own but still like to have a little bit of baby forumla so I give her whatever she wants and needs just like the rest Quakey and Tiki and all o.k. well we just needed to put this on here at quakerparrots.com please we'd like some feedback from you guys here at quakerparrots.com just to let us know that you guys all care and can give us some something to go on/go by in suffering a tragic loss of Kiwi o.k. Thanks we'd love feedback o.k. from Mommy Carol, Tiki, Quakey and Amazon Tequila please give us some feedback and all we'd love to hear from everyone out there here in Quakeyland o.k.

Carol, I am so sorry for the loss of Kiwi. I know how much your fids mean to you. I hope the new little one helps your heart to heal. It is so sad that Kiwi just flew over the Rainbow Bridge. Any ideas why? Are you having her tested to make sure it is nothing that could hurt the rest of your flock family?
Again, I am sending prayers and hugs on the loss of Kiwi I. ((((HUGZ)))
