Hi all,
I just wanted to let you all know that I now know what Alex is....SHE IS A GIRL!!! I know this because she laid an egg the toher day. However, I'm concerned about this. What do I need to do? There is no male, so I've just been throwing them out. I think that she laid a total of three but hasn't done it anymore in the past few days. Should I feed her a diff food. She eats the Zupreme food. Plus we have a new dog in the house. Could that be why she is laying eggs?

Amy, It's better to leave the eggs and she'll lay a few and set for awhile then let them go. If you take them out, she'll keep on laying.

Make sure she has plenty of protein and calcium to replenish the extra that she's using to make the eggs.

ok thanks! I have one of those calcium blocks in her cage......

scrape some cuttle bone over her food just to make sure she is getting plenty of calcium ...I`ll post a couple of links for you to read... smile.gif
