Thanks guys. We are coming home soon and we did hear from the folks that are taking care of her and she is doing fine.

(As are our other pets: poison dart frogs, fish, and our dog). And I redid her cage before we left because as some of you may know, she didn't play with toys because in her abusive home she didn't have any

. But recently we found out that she loves her metal toy with the beads and chimes, so we bought three others like that one and replaced all of her perches with rope ones because those are her favorites

(she didn't feel safe on her other perch because it was made for smaller birds and doesn't quite support her weight lol
So hopefully while we are gone she decides to play with her new toys!

And since she sleeps on the floor of her cage (again a side effect from being abused) we bought her a furry green birdy hideout she can sleep in so it might be a bit more comfy too.
