Oatis is settling well..
however..
I have started playing the "im gonna get you" game and also peek-a-boo and also "wheres mummy"
he fluffs up and chirps and other times does a purry noise! are these signs of having fun or is he just annoyed with me!!

he started doing a screach tonight cos my fellas mate come round and they were out of site talkin in the kitchen! think he was afraid of missing something,or maybe just didnt recognise the new voice??

Hi Kirsty!!

Oatis sounds like he's doing great!!! smile.gif

Fluffed up and being chirpy is a good sign, as is purring. I love it when my little girl purrs wub.gif

The screeching could be because they were out of sight and talking. Perhaps Oatis felt a bit left out wink.gif

He didnt half screech this morning for his brekkie! He has figured out that when hes on the kitchen window sill its food time! the noise he makes then is adorable!!
Hes been quiet this morning since his bath! He doesnt like them very much! But cant bath my cockatiel and not bath him so hes gonna have to get used2it!
Got his harness on! Much to his disgust i might add haha

He is really coming out of his shell now and if i say giz a kiss he screaches (i usually make a kissy noise and i think hes trying to do that) bless him.hes only 7weeks so its going to be a long while before he manages to copy anything but the fact hes trying must be a good sign!!
he is also doing quite a lot of flying and prefers to be on his playtop on top of cage than away from cage, trying to keep him on me or my partner as long as possible as dont want him to become used to not being handled! he is very stuck in his ways though and flying back to cage a lot haha!
he loves to sit on top of cage and talk to us from there!(well screech, purr and make a quaker noise hehe) i think hes settling in great! and isnt at all phased by my other animals!
