Hi, I am tessie...I am 22 years old....I work and I go to college.....I have 2 chihuahuas...one female cat and maybe this weekend another female cat....one cockatiel and a lovebird...2 hamsters and fish....I recently lost my 15 year old cocker spaniel, my 10 year old parakeet. And my 1 yar old lovebird that had bone cancer....I want a quaker parrot so bad but I would rather adopt one I might buy one later if I don't find a homeless quaker....well I love quakers my granfather had one and he was such a smart parrot....so far I just come to this forum to read and learn lol....if anybody had a quaker available for adoption in nyc I adopt it...I will post later pics of my babies...thanks

Hi Tessie, Welcome to the forum, you might get a few more replies from people who hear of available quakers if you list the city and state where your at, or at least your state.
Quakers are fantastic little birds. Stick around and you'll learn lots about quakers here. Lots of great people here who love their quakers and want to share their experiences with them.
You might also get the book "A Guide to Quaker Parrots" by Mattie Sue Athon. LOTS of great infor in there.
Again welcome to the group. You're gonna love living here.

Hi I just move to new york city...and I don't mind the age, or gender of the quaker I am wiling to adopt...I have pacience...I have tame older lovebirds before....thanks for everything guys
