Cabo loves to poop in her water dish. I have moved it several times away from perches so she couldnt poop in it. So she sits in the dish like a duck and poos. She has a 'bath dish" but she hates it. Has anyone tried one of the water bottles? If so which ones are the best.

Many people have had great success with water bottles. I believe a few members just use the regular plastic rodent bottles and others use the Lixit bottles which are apparently 'the best'.

That's crazy that she just sits there and poops?

My quaker is also pooping in the water dish lol no matter where i move it too! So i am investing in a water bottle!! Thankfully e isnt yet drinking water but i dont fancy him trying it after emptying his bowels in the bowl!! he even sleeps on the bowl for some reason!! and totally ignores his snuggle bed and towels in bottom of cage etc etc!! i guess they just like to be different hehe

Yup ! I totally understand, My lil guy does the same thing all day , so I am constantly changing his water bowl. I dunno why he does it I guess it may be a comfort thing or he knows he is gonna get fresh water when he does it. You know how these guys live for attention. I am thinking about a water bottle myself. Good luck!

I just put a lixit bottle up and my quaker loves it! she is drinking out of it right now! now she just poos in her bowl and drinks from the bottle

Gypsy has had a water bottle for over 2 years, she does great w/it and NO POOP!
