I'm hoping this is where my wife was posting all the time. I know she loves this forum and she hasn't been posting in quite some time. For those that have read her posts and knows who she is, I was just letting them know that she has been in the hospital and sick for quite some time now. She has Metastatic Brain cancer and is not doing very well. I hope this topic gets to the people that she conversed with so much. thank you!

She is in Lufkin memorial Hospital (936) 634-8111 Rm# 322 (she doesn't answer ph. much unless feeling well)

Oh, I'm so sorry about your wife. I will keep her in my prayers and thoughts~!!! How are you holding up?? I know how hard it is for you to see your wife not doing good. I'm so sorry and remember we all are here for you and her. I feel so bad and my heart aches for your wife. Because this is very serious and she is only 44. I will lift her name up to the Lord. I don't know what else to say except I'm deeply sorry!!! I just called her, but she was on her cell phone! I talked to the nurse and she said to call back later! I'm sorry I missed her and I did not get to talk to her! Please tell her Meeka's Mom called today!!!

Thank you all. I will let her know that Meeka's Mom tried to call. I also appreciate your gesture. She is the strong one here as she has been battling her Kidney Cancer for over 3 yrs. It just matastisized to her brain a little over 4 months ago. It is also very saddening to say that she only has a few more months to live. Right now her hospital stay is due to her not having been able to eat for over 3 wks now. She is being administered fats, protiens, etc.. thru IV. She is not doing well and all we have right now are ours, yours, and everyone else's prayers to help her along. Thanks again!

Oh My! I am so sorry. God is still in the miracle business and I will at least pray for one of His best. I'll be keeping you and Lanell in my prayers daily. God bless you both.

She never said a word about her sickness. I can't stop thinking about her and YES she is a strong amazing lady. I will put her name on our prayer list. Please tell her I'm thinking of her and I truly do care~! I know the Lord is taking care of her and I asked the Lord to put angels around you and her. Yes that what breaks my heart, I knew when I read it she does'nt have just a few more months, but I believe God can do miracles and she is a fighting!!!

You take care and if you need something let me know and I will see what I can do for you. My husband is a Nurse so if you have any question he can answer them for you.
But I'm sure they are doing a wonderful job at the hospital she is at.

I am so very sorry for you, Lanell, and your family. As a fellow Texan my prayers are with you. How is Ziggy ? He must miss his mommy. Are you doing ok with him? My heart goes out to you all.

I called and talked to her breifly yesterday. She sounded tired but was eager to talk about the birds a bit. And I told her we all missed her here on the forum. Soooo sad.

Many many prayers are lifting Lanell up to the Lord now that you have let us in on her battle. Please let us know how she is doing. You may get inundated with cards now Will have to change your name to Mr. Postman!!

Please let her know she is in our prayers and thoughts and we truly do miss her.

Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner. I lost Lanell's password to here, but was finally able to retrieve it and I have it saved now. I've told lanell of all your thought's and prayers and she has received a couple cards that I have read to her. She is home now with what the Dr's say may be days or a few weeks at the most to live. I treid last nite to be able to let her post to you but as I stated, I lost her password and she was unable to remember it. Now that I have it, I will try to see if she would like me to post something for her hopefully next week. Again, thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. They are greatly appreciated. Bobby
BTW, all the birds are doing fine and ziggy is beginning to talk and mimic. She smiles when she hears him.

I'm sorry that I have not reply to this topic in a few days. Sometimes I get upset and it really makes me depression when I know someone is in pain and is not doing well.

I don't know what your going through. But My husband is sick and not good, his not to the point where your wife is, but he will be someday soon and I don't know how I well be able to handle it. So I don't know how your being strong but I know you are strong, I hope I can be strong like you. You all are in my prayers!!
