I will be bringing home our new QP baby about July 15th. These babies are about 2 months old now, and have been hand fed until a couple of days ago. I don't have a name for him (or her) yet, but have paid for the cage, just need to bring it home and get everything ready for him. I brought my (adult) daughter in to meet these babies yesterday, and she loved them, too! Because they had just stopped the hand-feeding, these babies were hungry! Until now, there haven't been any bites, but there sure were yesterday - along with lots of begging for food.

I've never had this type of bird, but I am really looking forward to bringing him (or she) home. I already have two cats and a dog. I don't trust the cats, but the dog (Sebastian) was friendly with my friend Pat's cockatiel, so I
think he will be fine.
