Hi!

I'm getting my first bird, a weaned quaker baby, in about 2 weeks. I'm keeping up with him (I use that loosely) via pictures right now, but soo excited to 'meet' him! I'm still mulling over names right now. Some finalists include: Kiwi, Elliot, and Oscar.

I just finished grad school, and I have 1 husband and 1 dog We live in Central Texas.

I just posted under Accomodations, to try to get some cage advice if you have time to look.

I look forward to getting to know everyone. This is a pic from my breeder of playtime this morning.

"It" hasn't been sexed yet; that's funny. Your probably right, I should get that done or pick a more neutral name.

Welcome Lindsey!! I too, am new to birds/Quakers and will be getting my Seamus in about 4 weeks , but at least I get to go visit and hold him! Must be killing you to not be interacting with the cutie!
I think Elliot is a great name and if it turns out to be a girl, change it to Ellie!
(if Seamus turns out to be a girl, I'll call her Shay!).
