Usually I can't play with Clyde in the morning because I have to go to work or run errands or go to church and my husband has stuff to do, but it's a lazy Saturday for a change and we got him out and my, but he's talkative and affectionate and wants kisses -- AND he even let me kiss the top of his head, he's NEVER done that. What's up? Are they morning persons?

while not a big cuddler, my guy's pretty open to affection no matter the time of day. but he is way more talkative usually in the late morning/early afternoon. we have this ritual now, when he first comes out of his cage, we kiss and kiss and kiss he is very free with his kissies, and quite enthusiastic about making the kissie noise too. sometimes i hear him chattering away, and he says gimme a kiss then makes the kissie noise.

if i don't lean in quick enough for him, he'll kiss my cheek. how i ever survived without this little guy is beyond me.

Eli is much more affectionate in the morning as well. Maybe cuz he's still a little sleepy and enjoys the extra cuddle time ... I love Saturday mornings with him.
He loves the thick robe I wear in the winter and every time I take a sip of coffee he makes the "gulping" sound. I didn't realize I was so noisy until he came along!!

My little girl is VERY affectionate in the morning and as I type this, she's talking up a storm. By 2:30, she'll get in her crabby mood and I'll have to leave her alone for awhile. Their funny little creatures, aren't they?
