i have another qp and a conure that currently eat pellets and some seeds.. i just brought home a baby that just finish weaning.. they have her/him on seeds without sunflower seeds that is....how sooon could i introduce pellets??? thanks for your help....

oops sorry so big, i messed up...well this is my new friend...........

Congrats on the new fid! smile.gif You can introduce the pellets in a different dish right away just don't take away the seeds. wink.gif Hopefully s/he'll learn to enjoy the pellets and start to eat the them on her/his own, making the conversion much easier later! Then you can do the conversion when s/he settles in more... I think people recommend about 3 weeks to a month (whenever s/he starts to look really comfortable etc. in her/his new home).

thanks for your help...I was thinking of just added it to the other bowl and go from there.. my little guy/she is always eating.. its the cutest thing..but i was concerned i never seen it drink so ihave two drinks up high and next too his food dish.. i know for sure its pooing in one.lololol i was nervous that is so small it hasnt begun exploring his cage.. time will tell. i should convert one dish for pellets and see from there.. thanks for your help.......sheilla
