It has become increasingly frustrating for some members, myself included, to open a topic to find the only thing new is the word "BUMP" and the sole purpose for the post was to bring the topic to the top.

The forum has built in functionality that alleviates the need to bump threads. All members have the "View New Posts" function which is unique to each member. This functionality will list all new topics/threads and any threads that have been posted to since the member last viewed the forum. This allows members to view only the new posts since their last visit. Active members shouldn't miss anything new.

There is also the individual capability to track a specific topic within the thread options.

Please note that if a thread is of great importance to the forum at large and should be seen by all members for a period of time then the thread will be pinned.
