Clyde has decided in the last week or two that he much prefers sitting on my right hand -- not my left, mind you, it must be the right, good thing I'm ambidextrous,

-- rather than a shoulder and is not really satisfied unless I sit here and play perch half the evening. So he preens and takes breaks to kiss me and snuggle and announce various things ("pretty bird!" being a favorite) and eventually, I get distracted by something on the computer and look back at him because he's being too quiet and he's gone and dozed off!

He's done this three or four times. So, I figure he's sleepy and it's bedtime but just like a little kid, he will insist he is NOT sleepy and doesn't want to go back to his cage.

Should I be flattered that he's so comfy on my hand that he goes to sleep? Or should I wonder if I've bored him?

"Well, geez, Mom's so busy on that silly box, I might as well have a nap!"
