Full Version: Clyde's New Cute Thing

Siobhan
Clyde has decided in the last week or two that he much prefers sitting on my right hand -- not my left, mind you, it must be the right, good thing I'm ambidextrous, laugh.gif -- rather than a shoulder and is not really satisfied unless I sit here and play perch half the evening. So he preens and takes breaks to kiss me and snuggle and announce various things ("pretty bird!" being a favorite) and eventually, I get distracted by something on the computer and look back at him because he's being too quiet and he's gone and dozed off! ohmy.gif He's done this three or four times. So, I figure he's sleepy and it's bedtime but just like a little kid, he will insist he is NOT sleepy and doesn't want to go back to his cage. rolleyes.gif Should I be flattered that he's so comfy on my hand that he goes to sleep? Or should I wonder if I've bored him? tongue.gif "Well, geez, Mom's so busy on that silly box, I might as well have a nap!"

xerxeys mama
i will be watching tv and xerxey comes over to be with me an dhe either sits onmyshoulder and sleeps there or perches onmy hand and sleeps there. lol i look funny with a parrot sleepig on my hands. i think its so cute and that shows that xerxey is so happy to be withhis mama! wub.gif

Charliesmum
Charlie just loves to crawl into my hair and fall asleep, its cute but really hard to wake him up and get him back into his cage, whenever somebody tries he gets really crabby smile.gif
