Hi everyone!

My little guy's name is Rembrant (Remy for short). He is about 13 months old...my husband and I adopted him when he was about 6 months old. Having a bird is new to us both. Remy LOVES my husband, took up with him right off.

When we first brought Remy home, my hubby would try to get him to come to me and so on, but I told him to just let Remy get to know me in his own way and time. That approach seems to have been the right thing because now Remy has bonded with me quite well.

Remy doesn't talk yet, but he's trying!! He loves to make kissing noises and he's learning to whistle when you say "Remy's pretty". He is such a trip and even though he still bites sometimes, I love him and hope to have him around a long time.
