Aw, he is so adorable. It really scares me, the beak, not sure I'd be able to let one plop down beside me without being scared stiff.

LOL But boy is he not the sweetest and most beautiful boy!!!
I am not worried about the beak on this one its that death grip he has with those big old feet that are far worse.

so what does ol Charro think of this little mini me in the house?
Sambuka is in quarentine right now till his vet visit. We are getting his band removed as well seems like a tight fit to me and we will then be getting him chipped. Then Charro will be able to meet him and he can be moved into the bird room. We will never allow them to play together as we have recently found out that Charro will and has attacked birds in the past. one was left minus 1 foot so no playtime with them 1 on 1 they will have to admire each other from seperate cages depending on whoever is out at the time. We are just not willing to test that one if something was to happen Charro can be a bit unruly and gets that wild streak. Everyone.... Birds need bounderies I see firsthand everyday the outcome of what happens when you allow a wild caught macaw to have no bounderies no rules for 22 1/2 years He is learning slowly and does test those limits often and we do have a bit of setbacks where he lets the devil show through. But all in all he is a great bird I love him to death he is my big boy and he is such a mommas boy. I am the only person that can handle him out of the cage. Dwayne tries but Charro will remove chunks from him and has. And will iniciate a full force attack wings spready running and biting at bare ankles toes anything beyond reach that is not attached to me. But in the cage he will climb down below and give kisses let him rub his head and chest lots of foot rubs.
