hello i am new to this part of the forum i usually go onto the quaker for my new baby but i am having major issues with me kitten he is about 6 or 7 months old and when i got him he was 9 weeks old and was playful but sweet and i have 3 children 2 1/2 8 and 10 and my two year old loves the cat so much so he would always be pulling holding probabley annoying cole and i don't think cole minded becouse when my son was asleep he would only cuddle to him but in the last few months i've added one cockateil and then a baby **** tzue and finally a quaker baby and my cat turned wild he has always been hyper but he trys to attack my puppy who is only 2 pound every chance he gets i am getting so mad at him i spray him with water swat him yell nothing works do you think he'll grow out of it or do you think my kids made him this way, i love and care for him but he wasn't the kind of cat i wanted i wished for a luvbug but he has always been too busy for that so its gotten from hyper to wild please give me any advice you can i don't know what to do cats are so hard to rehome and i want to know if i can train him

I think most cats are a little crazy until they're 2 or 3, I can remember mine was just such a troublemaker when he was a youngster but he outgrew it and was a lovely companion for the 14 years I had him

I wouldn't worry too much. Sounds like your cat is acting like it should be and is going through his mischievous phase. All cats go through this and most grow out of it.
To me, your description makes it sound like the cat wants to play with the dog. Maybe you should keep the two separated so that the puppy doesn't get harmed.
